Our team comes from leading hospitality and luxury brands, and we are excited to bring a culture-driven approach to the neighborhood.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our opening kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for culinary excellence and hospitality, with the skills to execute refined small plates that complement our cocktail program. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items to the highest standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain mise en place, ensuring readiness and efficiency during service
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and supportive team environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar role in a restaurant, bar, or hotel
- Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable guest experiences through food
- NY Food Handler's Certification
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
- Full-time, expected 40 hours per week
