POSITION SUMMARY
The host will greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of wait times, monitor the waiting list, enter guest names into our reservation system, show guests to their table and bid farewell as they leave.
The Host will create a warm and welcoming environment by presenting a positive first impression.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome guests by greeting them per company standards and respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Escort guests to seats and set them up for a pleasurable dining experience
- Help deliver a memorable food and beverage dining experience to all guests
- Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
- Provide guests with food and beverage menus while demonstrating knowledge of menu items, as well as daily specials
- Receive and record dining reservations or respond to general inquiries via telephone or online reservation system
- Confer with dining room staff to ensure guests are receiving prompt and courteous service
- Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic and graceful attitude
- Ensure consistent communication with staff members and management during service
- Demonstrate ability to aid co-workers during service while successfully maintaining responsibilities
- Maintain a welcoming and orderly restaurant environment
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before and during service.
- Complete side work as assigned by management
- Consistently report to scheduled shifts punctually and properly attired.
- KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Restaurant experience, especially in high-volume settings, is desirable.
- Previous related experience preferred.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-organized and precise attention to detail.
- Capable of following directions and executing tasks effectively.
- Professional and polished demeanor.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holiday
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00)
