Chef Walter Manzke is offering the opportunity to join his PM Restaurant team at Republique. We are looking for talented line cooks with a minimum of two years experience to join the team and further their experience.
We maintain a fine dining standard in our PM Restaurant. Applicants should possess a keen attention to detail, a passion for food along with a strong work ethic and natural sense for hospitality.
Requirements:
- Formal culinary arts education or commensurate experience and/or 1 to 3 years of professional cooking experience including fine dining.
- Knowledge of food preparation, presentation and quality control
- Experience with knives and various tools of the trade
- Able to follow instructions as a member of the team
- Able to be led and to lead as a collaborative member of the team
- Reliable, hard-working, proactive & organized
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to ever evolving situations
- Able to work independently, without constant supervision
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
- Food Handlers permit on file

Basic compensation is $18/hour. Including tip share and overtime this averages to around $23/hour.
