We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Floor Manager to lead daily operations in our high-volume restaurant located inside Philadelphia International Airport. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams while maintaining exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and staff morale in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities for the position include:
- Oversee all aspects of daily floor operations, ensuring efficient service flow between kitchen and dining areas.
- Supervise and support both FOH and BOH employees during shifts, maintaining teamwork and communication.
- Ensure all operational, health, and safety standards are followed consistently.
- Manage shift breaks, side work, and floor assignments to optimize coverage during peak hours.
- Lead by example in providing warm, attentive, and professional customer service.
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve high performance and consistency.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to review daily specials, service priorities, and goals.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to help employees grow and maintain morale.
- Assist in scheduling, labor management, and daily cash handling/reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management or kitchen leadership.
- Support cost-control initiatives through efficient staffing, waste reduction, and portion management.
Qualifications for an ideal candidate include, but are not limited to:
- 5+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in a high-volume setting (airport or similar environment preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage both FOH and BOH teams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to maintain composure under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems (experience with Toast POS a plus).
- Availability for flexible schedules, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Food safety certification and/or alcohol service certification.
