Looking for a professional line cook interested in working in a busy neighborhood restaurant with a small hardworking team.
4 pm shifts available as well as
2 am shifts - we are flexible as to how many shifts and what combination will work for you and for us. Must be comfortable and confident on the line and show up ready to work each day. If things go well, we might even let you pick the music.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, execute a range of daily tasks; ensure the kitchen produces food while simultaneously engaging in and adding to a healthy, happy work environment. Seasonal, ingredient-drive menu as well as our classics so consistency is key.
Essential Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Responsible for preparation, cooking, and portioning of food.
- Ability to effectively open and close the kitchen in a timely and clean manner.
- A familiarity with common allergens and dietary restrictions.
- Able to communicate and work effectively with all staff both FOH and BOH.
- Maintain a high level of consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness in accordance with the Health Department and restaurant standards.
- Effectively communicating any kitchen issues to leadership.
Compensation is between $20- 23 and hour based on experience and efficacy.
