Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Fine Dining Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food service industry, particularly in fine dining settings. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately, specifically using Toast. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.
• Participate in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.
• Train new staff members on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with management on shift management tasks, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality management, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining or casual dining environments with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and Toast.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and training & development.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in supervising staff within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
