Selby's is Looking for Bartenders to Join our Team
Responsibilities include:
• Interact with guests to ensure they have a wonderful experience and ensure every customer leaves happier than they arrived.
• Present drink menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Accurately mix and serve beverages to guests and service staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Must be able to offer help with any general restaurant questions and menu food and beverage questions.
• Practice accurate cash handling procedures.
• Perform all bar side work and keep the bar area clean, stocked and organized
• Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
• Prepare garnishes for drinks for bar patrons
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, glassware, shelves and storage
This is a non-exempt position. The position of bartender reports to restaurant management and the General Manager.
