Busser/ Runner/ Server Assistant

The legendary Lundy Bros. in Red Hook Brooklyn is looking for strong busser / runners / server assistants to enhance our growing service team. Barback and Runner experience a plus.

Efficient workers with strong attention to detail that add to the overall dining experience by anticipating the needs of guests and servers are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates are comfortable taking initiative, have excellent communication skills and understand that this role is much more than properly setting and clearing in an efficient manner.

Position Requirements:

• Arrive on time and prepare assigned stations.
• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to guests
• Communicate clearly in English and work effectively with management, servers, and team members to support smooth service operations. 
• Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns and escalate to senior staff or manager when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of stations, dining areas, and front-of-house areas throughout the shift.
• Possess up to date knowledge of menus, food preparation, beverages, and service standards.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
