Major Food Group is hiring a Doorperson for our team at ZZ's Sushi Bar located in the Design District!
ZZ's Club is an exclusive, modern social space designed for those individuals who appreciate the highest caliber of culinary, hospitality and entertainment. We are a home away from home for our members, a distinguished clientele that expects precise execution and exquisite attention to detail.
Please be aware this position is predominantly stationed outside of the restaurant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stands at the outdoor entrance of the restaurant contributing to security measures and providing basic assistance to guests.
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
- Facilitate the flow of traffic in and out of the restaurant.
- Engage guests, act as an ambassador of the restaurant in both personality and knowledge.
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Perform some security responsibilities as necessary.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Upkeep of facade/outdoor appearance of restaurant (not limited to sweeping, window maintenance)
- Restroom maintenance
- Assisting FOH maitre'd/management as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2-3 years as a Doorperson, or similar role.
- Previous experience in security, hospitality, or customer service strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Strong people skills a must.
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($25.00)
