Hi-Lawn is seeking a Manager to join team who exhibits leadership, takes initiative, and can follow our standards while overseeing daily operations.
Located on the rooftop of Union Market, Hi-Lawn is a bar and eatery with sprawling open space with games, live music, themed parties, delicious draft cocktails and a fun, energetic staff. We offer endless opportunities to host events, promtions, and programming, both big and small, while simultaneously executing daily operations.
Job Expectations and Requirements:
- Train service team on hospitality, food, and beverage menus upon being hired as well as provide continuous education throughout their employment
- Direct, supervise, and lead front of house employees on a daily basis in accordance with company standards
- Establish strong leadership by being responsive to suggestions and concerns and working to resolve problems
- Order supplies and beverages and adhere to pars and business level trends
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Sharp attention to detail and organization
- Comply with Standards of Hospitality and SOPs and assist in assuring the same from all employees
- Assist in success of the business by contributing to revenue goals, programming, and hiring and retaining staff
What We’re Looking For:

At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience preferred.

Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Highly organized, productive, and able to work meticulously in a high-volume restaurant & bar.

Energetic and friendly personality, with a strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and support colleagues regardless of role.

Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Must be able to maintain an ABC License.
Physical Demands:
-
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach shoulder level.

Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures.

Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time.
Open availability and a minimum of 2 years of manager experience in a high volume restaurant environment is preferred.
