El Chef Ejecutivo Simon Lam presenta un menú divertido con interpretaciones modernas de la comida callejera de Hong Kong, dim sum tradicional y platos clásicos chinos con influencia global.

Estamos buscando un Cocinero/a de Preparación AM / Lavaplatos para asistir en la cocina, garantizando calidad, consistencia, saneamiento y eficiencia.

Esta posición es para el turno de la mañana; la persona ideal debe tener habilidades culinarias básicas, experiencia similar en cocina y mantener un espacio de trabajo limpio y organizado. La disponibilidad los fines de semana es obligatoria.

Las responsabilidades y expectativas incluyen:

  • Preparar ingredientes de acuerdo con las recetas y los estándares de la cocina.

  • Operar el equipo de cocina de manera segura y eficiente, manteniendo siempre los estándares de limpieza y sanidad.

  • Almacenar los alimentos correctamente para evitar su deterioro y garantizar su frescura.

  • Cumplir con todas las regulaciones de seguridad alimentaria e higiene, asegurando el cumplimiento de los códigos y estándares de salud.

  • Comunicarse eficazmente con los Chefs para garantizar una coordinación fluida y la finalización oportuna de las tareas.

  • Asistir en la gestión de inventario, monitoreando niveles de existencias, rotando ingredientes y notificando a los Chefs sobre faltantes o discrepancias.

  • Cumplir en todo momento con las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa en cuanto al manejo de alimentos, seguridad y sanidad.

  • Colaborar con el equipo de cocina para mantener los estándares de calidad y contribuir a un ambiente laboral positivo.

Requisitos:

  • Experiencia previa en cocina preferida, pero no requerida.

  • Conocimiento básico de prácticas de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento.

  • Capacidad para seguir recetas e instrucciones con precisión.

  • Gran atención al detalle y habilidades organizativas.

  • Resistencia física para permanecer de pie por largos períodos y levantar objetos pesados.

  • Flexibilidad para trabajar en las mañanas y tardes.

  • Disposición para aprender y trabajar en equipo.

  • ¡Ser bilingüe en español e inglés es una ventaja!

We are a contemporary Hong Kong style kitchen with a Bib Gourmand recognition who takes pride in ensuring a positive work environment along with being a place to grow and be challenged professionally. Executive Chef Simon Lam features a playful menu of modern takes on Hong Kong street food, traditional dim sum, and classic Chinese dishes with a global influence. 

We are looking for an AM Prep Cook/Dishwasher to assist in the kitchen, ensuring quality, consistency, sanitation, and efficiency.

This position is a morning position who should have basic culinary skills, similar cooking experience and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Weekend availability is a must.

Duties and expectations will include:

  • Preparing ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
  • Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Storing food items properly to prevent spoilage and ensure freshness.
  • Following all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance with health codes and standards.
  • Communicating effectively with Chefs to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of tasks.
  • Assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and notifying Chefs of shortages or discrepancies.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation at all times.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to uphold quality standards and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work mornings and afternoons.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus!
