Bartender

CORE: is seeking Bartenders to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences to our community.

CORE: comprises of 110 seat restaurant, 60 seated terrace, a library and event space as well as four private dining rooms.

Our menu is Italian/Mediterranean driven, with a focus on offering well sourced, ethically farmed, fresh ingredients to create seasonally inspired menus prepared by our culinary team with Michelin Star experience.

We are currently open Monday through Friday for breakfast, lunch & dinner service.

Primary Role & Responsibilities

• Complete all necessary opening and closing side-work; not limited to juicing and cutting fruit, preparing syrups, building garnishes and batches, etc.
• Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage menus, and able to guide guests to best order
• Follows proper steps of service with grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service

• Ensure that every guest receives exceptional overall experience.
• Able to create relevant and creative beverages based on requirements of guests or managers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the seating area.
• Support team with beverage service to all dining room areas
• Responsible for cleaning, polishing, and maintaining stock of bar glassware and service-ware
• Communicates respectfully and effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service. 
• Listen to, and promptly act to resolve, guest issues and requests

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a bartender in a luxury bar, hotel, or restaurant
• Experience using Aloha or similar POS system
• Craft cocktail + spirits knowledge a must
• Basic wine knowledge a plus
• Excellent guest service skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, team player
• Willingness to learn and grow
