Holt’s Cigar Company is expanding operations in Northeast Philly with a new Humidor, Bar & Lounge! The region’s oldest and most trusted premium cigar retailer is opening a brand-new 11,000 square-foot facility, including a 2,000 square-foot walk-in humidor, full-service bar, and 7,000 square-foot lounge, plus outdoor patio seating at 2990 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, across the road from our current retail shop.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and replenish liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and garnishes on the bar
- Physical stamina with the ability to stand for long periods and lift kegs and cases of liquor is essential
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment is required
- Attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards is essential
- Adhere to food safety and health code standards in all service procedures
- Collect dirty glasses from the bar and patrons, then wash, dry, and restock them for service
- Clean the bar area, wash tools, wipe down counters, and perform general tidying
- Prepare and stock fresh garnishes, such as fruits and herbs, for drink making
- Assist with inventory counts, deliveries, and stocking other necessary items like napkins, straws, and toothpicks
- Assist bartenders by delivering drinks, running food, and fulfilling other requests during busy periods
- Help set up the bar before opening, including stocking shelves, and assist with closing tasks like cleaning and storing perishable items
Qualifications:
- Ability to manage the flow of a high-end, fast-paced environment
- Capable of cleaning, moving, and retrieving items seamlessly around guests
- Maintain clean and organized bar and guest areas, including sanitizing surfaces, ashtrays, washing glassware, and properly storing ingredients and equipment
- Ability to manage inventory, organize supplies, and keep the bar area clean and efficient during busy and slow periods
- Strong initiative and the foresight to anticipate the needs of guests, bartenders, and servers without constant supervision
- Supportive and collaborative attitude toward team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
