About Us

Atsumeru is a Nordic-Japanese inspired tasting menu restaurant located in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. We’re passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences through exceptional service, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic member to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, and genuinely enjoys engaging with guests. You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing informed recommendations, and ensuring each guest leaves happy.

Responsibilities

Greet and guide guests through the dining experience with warmth and professionalism
Serve the courses as they are prepared in the kitchen
Provide knowledgeable notes about beverage pairings
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, seamless service
Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
Handle payments and process transactions through the POS system
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
