Summary of Position:

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each Bartenders’s primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return again and again.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Take & prepare beverage orders from guests & servers in a timely manner
Prepare both alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes
Cut garnishes, prep syrups, restock bar
Record & charge orders accurately in point of sale system
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar
Provide prompt & friendly service to all customers
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

Be 21 years of age (Virginia State law)
2+ years of bartending experience
Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point of sale system.
Have working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common beverages.
Active & energetic personality.
Ability & willingness to exceed customer expectations.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently withheavy weight
