Overview:

We are looking for a Part Time Prep Cooks ($18-$22/hour, based on experience) to join our team!. In this role, you will assist with preparing meal ingredients, simple dishes, condiments, and other items as directed by senior culinary staff, while also ensuring all dishes, utensils and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Support culinary staff with basic food preparation tasks as required. This includes preparing fresh produce, meat, condiments, dressings and sauces.
• Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is required.
• Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
