Oscar Wilde NYC, home to the longest bar in New York City, is seeking a vibrant, energetic, and hospitality-driven Floor Manager to join our leadership team.

• What We’re Looking For
  

We’re seeking someone with:

• A strong background in both food and beverage operations
  
  
• Bar and floor management experience in a high-volume setting
  
  
• The ability to lead with hospitality, inspire teams, and maintain exceptional service standards
  
  
• Working knowledge of Toast, SevenRooms, Resy, and OpenTable
  
  
• Valid NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (Required)
• Key Responsibilities
  

• Lead and manage daily FOH operations with professionalism and urgency
  
  
• Create and maintain weekly FOH schedules
  
  
• Hire, train, and mentor a high-performance team
  
  
• Provide hands-on coaching and elevate guest engagement
  
  
• Ensure team knowledge of current menus, ingredients, and beverage pairings
  
  
• Oversee quality, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and labor laws
  
  
• Assist with P&L management, inventory, labor costs, and financial reporting
  
  
• Execute service with a passion for excellence and attention to detail
  
  
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for guests and staff
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a floor or service manager role
  
  
• NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (Required)
  
  
• Solid wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge
  
  
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  
  
• Experience managing and motivating FOH teams
  
  
• Familiarity with NYC labor laws, safety protocols, and sanitation best practices
  
  
• Background in event production and hosting is a plus
  
  
• Based in New York and authorized to work in the U.S.
