For over 35 years, Island has been a beloved staple of the Upper East Side. We serve a loyal, sophisticated clientele in a warm, neighborhood setting that’s both elegant and welcoming. Our dining room is consistently busy, and our team operates like a family — professional, fast-paced, and supportive.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for two experienced servers to join our front-of-house team. These positions are replacing a long-time team member, and we’re seeking individuals who bring both skill and personality to our busy dining room.
What We’re Looking For

Previous full-service restaurant experience required

Strong knowledge of food and ingredients

Friendly, team-oriented, and genuinely customer-focused

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

Professional appearance and presentation
Schedule (to be split between 2 hires):

Monday Lunch: 11:00am – 4:00pm

Monday Dinner: 4:30pm – 9:30pm

Thursday Lunch: 11:00am – 4:00pm

Saturday Lunch: 10:30am – 4:00pm

Sunday Brunch: 9:45am – 3:30pm
