Major Food Group is hiring Line Cooks to join our team at HaSalon in Miami!
Originating in Israel, HaSalon in Miami Beach has taken the experience of a vibrant Mediterranean restaurant to new heights. While the open kitchen showcases the skilled team of chefs preparing refreshing salads, colorful vegetable dishes, pasta, shared whole fish and delicious roasted meats, guests will find both incredible cuisine and dancing are finessed tabletop. The fun only heats up as the evening progresses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
- Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills a must

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $22.00)
