Back of House Staff

Kouklas Greek Eatery is a chef-driven, contemporary Greek restaurant bringing the warmth, flavor, and hospitality of Greece to Niles, IL. We are building a passionate, professional kitchen team to join us for our grand opening.

We are hiring full-time Back of House team members for the following positions:

• Line Cooks

• Prep Cooks

• Dishwashers

At Kouklas, we take pride in showcasing Greek flavors through fresh ingredients, scratch cooking, and attention to detail. Our culinary team is led by experienced chefs who value creativity, teamwork, and consistency. We’re looking for individuals who want to be part of a growing hospitality group and take pride in the food they create.

We will open with dinner service only, expanding to lunch and dinner after the first few months.

• A passion for food, quality, and excellence in every dish.

• Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.

• Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and as part of a tight-knit team.

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

• Willingness to learn and grow under an experienced culinary team.

• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Line Cooks:

• Execute menu items with consistency, accuracy, and speed.

• Maintain proper station setup, mise en place, and cleanliness.

• Work closely with chefs to ensure top-quality presentation and timing.

Prep Cooks:

• Handle daily prep, production, and organization for service.

• Follow recipes and portion standards precisely.

• Support the line during peak hours when needed.

Dishwashers:

• Keep dish area clean, organized, and stocked at all times.

• Wash and store all kitchenware properly.

• Assist with light prep, trash removal, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
