Front of House (FOH) Manager

About Bloomsday:
Bloomsday is a neighborhood natural wine bar and restaurant located in Headhouse Square. Our team is growing, and we’re looking to add a dedicated, collaborative person who can join our Beverage Director, Executive Chef, and Ownership to help lead dinner service and deliver an elevated guest experience. We’re passionate about good food, thoughtful wine, and creating genuine hospitality for our guests and community.
We’re seeking an experienced Front of House Manager who is hands-on, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The right person will support the team, ensure daily operations run smoothly, and contribute to the growth and cohesion of our tight-knit front of house.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead service as Manager on Duty for dinner and weekend brunch (4-5 days per week).
- Run pre-shift meetings and communicate menu changes, priorities, and guest details.
- Hire, train, and schedule FOH staff in collaboration with ownership and leadership.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and communication across shifts.
- Manage Toast POS, Resy, and WhenIWork platforms.
- Support bar and beverage operations alongside the Beverage Director and Bar Lead, including:
- Overseeing inventory, ordering, and bar prep systems.
- Supporting cocktail R&D and quality control.
- Assisting with training to uphold beverage program consistency.
- Work closely with the Beverage Director, Executive Chef, and FOH team to ensure alignment between floor operations, menu execution, and guest experience.
- Handle administrative tasks, service recaps, and general FOH systems management.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of restaurant management, leadership experience or comprehensive hospitality experience.
- Strong sense of hospitality and leadership through service.
- Excellent communicator and team motivator.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with experience using Toast, Resy, and WhenIWork.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
- Interest in food, wine, and fostering a learning-driven, collaborative culture.
