Bakery Assistant

La Baguette Magique is seeking seasonal bakers to join our team for the busy holiday season.
We’re a small, hands-on bakery built on local sourcing and craftsmanship.
We’re looking for someone who values precision, consistency, and the opportunity to grow in their craft.

Position: Seasonal Baker
Location: Downtown West Chester, PA
Hours: Early mornings, 3–5 days per week (including weekends)
Duration: October–December (with potential for extension)

• Assist with daily pastry production, including mixing, shaping, and baking
• Support preparation for holiday menus and special orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Work closely with a small, experienced team

• Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred
• Comfort working early mornings and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and pride in craft
• Reliability, teamwork, and good communication

• Free pastries and coffee
• Collaborate with a team deeply connected to local farms and artisans
• Potential for longer-term employment for the right fit
