Opening Winter 2025 in Los Feliz, Fellas is a refined Italian comfort food restaurant marrying rustic countryside charm with elevated technique. Think hearty pastas, slow-roasted meats, seasonal vegetables — all served in a woodsy, whimsical space that feels like escape without leaving the city.

We also have a to-go window where we for authentic coffee, pastries and sandwiches that nod to our full time menu.

Our Cuisine

The menu draws from traditional Italian home cooking: handmade pastas, house-fermented sauces, wood-oven breads, braises pulled low and slow, delicate desserts — every dish calibrated for balance and finesse.

We source local, organic produce and ethically raised proteins. Flavors lean honest: herbs, mushrooms, slow roasted garlic, wild-greens — nothing overdone.

Full bar program with elevated takes on Italian classics, curated wines, and non-alcoholic pairings. Take-out window caters to locals looking for a taste of home on the go.

Leadership & Team Culture

Headed by Sam Morrill, former partner at Night, and Sandra Luca, the team brings FOH & operations leadership from top Los Angeles establishments.

We believe in hands-on training, clear growth paths, and accountability — every role matters from prep line to front-of-house.

Busser / Food Runner

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining room throughout service.

  • Deliver food promptly and accurately to tables, ensuring all dishes are served according to proper presentation and timing standards.

  • Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination and guest satisfaction.

  • Reset tables quickly and efficiently between seatings, maintaining cleanliness and readiness at all times.

  • Refill water, clear plates, and anticipate guest needs before being asked.

  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including bus stations, server stands, and beverage stations.

  • Assist in polishing glassware, silverware, and maintaining proper stock levels of service items.

  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards during all stages of service.

  • Support overall flow of the floor — from greeting and seating assistance to running plates and desserts during busy periods.

  • Work collaboratively with the service team to create a seamless, professional guest experience.

  • Take direction from floor managers and servers, maintaining a respectful and team-oriented attitude at all times.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred, but not required.

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and organized.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Punctual, reliable, and able to take direction well.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude required.

  • Valid California Food Handler’s Certification required (or ability to obtain before start date).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $17–$22/hour (based on experience)

  • Open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner.
