Retail General Manager

The Retail General Manager leads all retail café operations across ReAnimator Coffee’s multiple locations (currently five, with a sixth opening soon). The Retail General Manager ensures consistent delivery of exceptional hospitality and drink quality, drives operational efficiency, and develops a high-performing retail team. This role partners closely with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals while maintaining ReAnimator’s reputation for excellence and a strong employee culture.

• Provide oversight and leadership for daily operations across all retail locations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards

• Implement operational improvements, seasonal menu changes, and new product rollouts consistently across cafés.

• Maintain retail spaces that are impressive, welcoming, and meet the highest cleanliness standards

• Manage scheduling, call outs, and time-off requests.

• Guarantee compliance with all Health Department guidelines

• Lead, coach, and support café staff to foster a strong culture of hospitality and accountability.

• Partner with senior management on employee performance management.

• Ensure consistent execution of training programs, maintaining standards for beverage quality, hospitality, and operations.

• Participate in hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions.

• Ensure all cafés deliver excellent hospitality and consistently high beverage quality.

• Respond to customer concerns and feedback with professionalism and urgency.

• Translate and implement marketing initiatives in cafés 

• Champion ReAnimator’s brand values in café environments, ensuring cafés are welcoming and aligned with company culture.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in food service or retail.

• At least 2 years of multi-unit operations leadership preferred.

• Demonstrated success in staff development and team leadership.

• Background in customer service and hospitality.

• Proficiency with POS systems and basic office software.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable starting work at 6:30am on a regular basis.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted and 70 lbs assisted.

• Must be able to stand and move throughout café environments for extended periods.

• Valid driver’s license for travel between locations.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Full-time position requiring flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

• Regular travel required between multiple café locations.

• Fast-paced environment with emphasis on quality and customer service.
