Empowered Hospitality is on the lookout for Front of House Managers for our fantastic hospitality clients located in New York, NY! We have exciting opportunities available in quick service, fast casual, and fine dining restaurants.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service. The Floor Manager will be responsible for creating a positive dining experience for our guests while effectively managing the team.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
- Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to maintain high standards of food production and presentation.
- Implement training programs focused on food handling, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and effective communication among staff.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food industry.
- Strong background in food service management with knowledge of culinary practices.
- Experience with quick service restaurants, fast casual restaurants and fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training & development.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel settings is a plus.
