Prep Cook

A new Bar is opening on Hillhurst and we want you to be a part of it!

"Vandell" which is named after the son of Griffith Jenkins Griffith. Vandell served as president of the Los Angeles Park Board and managed the Griffith Park Transportation Company. He was also a member of the LA Police Commission.

We are planned to open early November so we are looking for a dedicated team of individuals who are looking to better themselves as well as help us make the bar a neighborhood staple.

As a prep cook here at Vandell you will be the base of our food program here. The prep cook holds an integral part in our daily quality of life.
We are looking for several people and have multiple start times throughout the day for this position as well as a prep/line cook hybrid position as well. 
The daily responsibilities would be reading and executing the prep list everyday, putting away orders and organizing the dry storage and walk in spaces and weekly deep cleaning projects.
