Cocktail Server – Bar Moon
Description
We seek energetic and polished Cocktail Servers to join our team at Bar Moon in Post Oak, an immersive cocktail destination where every detail — from design to service — is crafted to inspire elegance, intrigue, and indulgence. Bar Moon is the newest addition to The Bastion Collection, a global leader in fine dining and luxury hospitality with a portfolio distinguished by 10 Michelin Stars and 3 Michelin Keys since 2019.
As a Cocktail Server, you will be the direct link between our guests and the bar program, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, engaged, and cared for. This role combines graceful service with knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and food offerings, requiring the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining a polished and professional demeanor.
Your Responsibilities:
• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service, ensuring each guest feels welcome and cared for.
• Guide guests through the cocktail, wine, spirits, and food menus, offering thoughtful recommendations.
• Take and deliver orders accurately, ensuring cocktails, beverages, and food items are presented with precision and style.
• Anticipate guest needs, monitor tables, and respond promptly to requests.
• Work closely with Bartenders, the Bar General Manager, and the culinary team to ensure seamless service flow.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of service areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout shifts.
• Handle all transactions with accuracy, following restaurant procedures.
• Comply with all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Your Qualifications:
• 1–2 years of experience as a server or cocktail server in luxury hospitality, hotels, or nightlife.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and food service, or the ability to quickly learn.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, move gracefully in limited space, and lift up to 20 lbs.
