Now Hiring: Server – Lighthouse Rooftop (Long Island City)

About Us:
Lighthouse Rooftop is a vibrant full-service restaurant and rooftop destination located in Long Island City, known for its elevated dining experience, stunning views, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for professional, energetic, and guest-focused servers to join our front-of-house team for the upcoming season.

Position: Server
Employment Type: Seasonal, Part-Time, or Full-Time
Compensation: $16.50 + tips

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant

• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and menu items is a plus

• Excellent memory and attention to detail

• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide a seamless dining experience

• Team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting and seating guests in collaboration with hosts

• Taking and delivering orders accurately and efficiently

• Suggesting menu items and providing recommendations

• Ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages

• Handling guest requests and resolving concerns promptly

• Collaborating with bussers, food runners, bartenders, and management to maintain smooth service

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of tables and service stations
