Now Hiring: Support Staff – Lighthouse Rooftop (Long Island City)
About Us:
Lighthouse Rooftop is a vibrant full-service restaurant and rooftop destination located in Long Island City, known for its elevated dining experience, stunning views, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our front-of-house team as Bussers, Food Runners, and Barbacks for the upcoming season.
Positions: Bussers, Food Runners, Barbacks
Employment Type: Seasonal, Part-Time, or Full-Time
Compensation: $11 - $15 (based on experience) + Tips/ Gratuity
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant in a similar role

Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills

Professional appearance and positive attitude
Qualities of Great Support Staff:

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Works efficiently under pressure while maintaining composure

Anticipates the needs of guests and teammates

Has a sense of urgency and pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Communicates clearly with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff

Team player who contributes to a smooth, positive guest experience

Physically able to lift trays, glassware, and supplies as needed
Responsibilities Include:

Bussers: Clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, maintaining dining area cleanliness

Food Runners: Delivering dishes promptly and accurately, ensuring food presentation standards are met, communicating between kitchen and floor staff

Barbacks: Supporting bartenders by restocking supplies, glassware, and ice; maintaining bar cleanliness and organization
