We are looking for an Experienced Line Cook who is dependable, adaptable, and passionate about delivering quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food to the exact specifications of the chef and restaurant standards.
  • Cook, plate, and garnish menu items with consistency, precision, and care.
  • Follow established portion control, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain stations before, during, and after service.
  • Assist with food prep, cleaning, restocking, and closing duties.
  • Uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and service staff.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and teamwork in all interactions.
  • Support the restaurant’s culture of hospitality and integrity
  • Perform other kitchen-related duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience cooking on the line in a full-service restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to schedule needs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current or ability to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Work is performed in a commercial kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, steam, and open flame.
  • Regularly required to stand for long periods of time (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to chop, mix, lift, handle equipment, and plate dishes.
  • Must be able to safely operate knives, slicers, fryers, ovens, mixers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Regularly required to walk, bend, stoop, reach, and handle cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Frequently required to go up and down a full flight of stairs while carrying product, equipment, or trash.
  • Regularly lift and move up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to work in hot or cold conditions (walk-in cooler, freezer, near cooking equipment) for extended periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Noise levels can be moderate to high during peak service hours.
  • Must wear required protective gear, including slip-resistant footwear and other safety equipment as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
