Executive Sous Chef

Land’s End in Sayville and Flowerfield in St. James are two high-profile, high-volume, upscale events & catering establishments located on Long Island, NY. We are seeking a Sous Chef to work in both locations and enhance our existing culinary team!

Ideal candidate must possess thorough knowledge of current food trends and food preparation. The Sous Chef will work alongside our Executive Chef to help lead daily production of event menu items and he / she is responsible for directing the cooks to prepare the highest quality of all corporate standards and vision. This Sous Chef will need to ensure proper technique and high quality of products while managing food and labor costs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Managing all types of events ranging from 200 to 800 guests
  • Suffolk county Food Handler Certified (required)
  • Floating schedule (Mon-Sun, nights & weekends)
  • Bilingual (a plus!)
