Barista

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Barista to join our team at Bub's Bakery! This role combines classic barista responsibilities with a strong emphasis on hospitality and multitasking. You will be serving expertly crafted beverages, restocking pastries, managing transactions, and helping maintain a warm, welcoming space for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks to standard

• Provide warm, genuine, and attentive customer service

• Flex between barista and cashier roles throughout the shift, based on business needs

• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including end-of-day cash handling and closing shift reports

• Restock and maintain the pastry display throughout the day to ensure freshness and presentation

• Perform regular inventory checks and assist with supply ordering and restocking

• Maintain a clean and organized bar, register, and customer area

• Fulfill delivery/pick-up orders on 3rd party platforms

• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Stay calm and efficient during high-volume rushes, while maintaining quality and friendliness

• Collaborate with team members and support wherever needed to keep service running smoothly

What You Need to Bring:

• Previous barista or café experience required

• Ability to multitask between barista, cashier, and floor duties

• Comfortable working under pressure in high-volume service environments

• Familiarity with cash handling, including closing procedures

• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills

• Experience with inventory, restocking, and ordering supplies is a plus

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Schedule & Availability:
Shifts are typically 7 to 8 hours, scheduled between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. Consistent availability and punctuality are essential.
