We have a tightly run food offering that highlights great produce with a straightforward approach.
We are currently hiring a Line cook to be part of a tight-knit team at our flagship location at 70 Pine Street.

Note - must be able to work weekends and early morning shifts (600am-230pm)

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for food preparation including following recipes, stocking service stations, heating, serving and presenting dishes quickly, precisely and cleanly.
- Follows direction, accepts any criticism and feedback and meets the Standards set by the Kitchen Manager
- Completes prep and follows procedures to ensure preparedness
- Maintains a DOH compliant work area including general cleanliness, storage organization and relevant cooking procedures
- Observes allergy protocol
- Receives food orders and completes them under given time frame
- Maintains professional conduct and treats coworkers with respect
- Performs any other tasks commonly expected of an individual in the position of a line cook
Attributes:
- 2+year of related experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
- A passion for food, exceptional work ethic and dedication
- Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly and constantly improve
- High-volume cafe experience preferred
- NYC Food Handlers Card
