Jupiter, a second restaurant from the team behind King, celebrates the generous simplicity of regional Italian food and drink in New York’s iconic Rockefeller Center. We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working chefs to join our dynamic, joyful kitchen team. For this role we are seeking a full time and experienced grill cook, who is familiar with protein cookery and knowing your way around a grill!
What you’ll do:
- Work in a fast paced, open kitchen, just in time for the holiday season!
- Prepare a menu of Italian alla griglia plates all the way from prep through service.
- Manage quality control and pars for the station.
- Collaborate with other chefs on ergonomics, prep, set-up/break-down, and inventory.
- Join the Jupiter team and get to work with passionate and dynamic crew!

- You are flexible and willing to workshop different solutions to the challenges of a new endeavor.
- You are a team player with clear communication and follow through and have significant experience on a busy hot line
- You have attention to detail and initiative to problem solve as needed
- You are able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- You are able to communicate in English, through written and verbal communications
- You are able to lift 50+ pounds
- You are available on nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
