Position Summary

As a Bartender you will be the cornerstone of our bar service within our fine-dining restaurant crafting exceptional cocktails, providing top-notch guest interactions, and enhancing the overall dining experience. Your expertise in mixology and customer service will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards and ensuring that each guest leaves with a memorable experience.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Create and serve a wide range of classic and innovative cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, using high-quality ingredients and precise techniques.
  • Provide attentive, personalized service to guests.
  • Take drink orders, make recommendations, and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
  • Keep up to date on inventory levels and stocking supplies and report needs to management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Build rapport with guests, ensuring they feel valued and attended to, while responding to their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of all beverages served, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Work closely with fellow staff members, including servers and kitchen personnel, to ensure seamless service and coordination throughout the restaurant.
  • Promote and upsell premium spirits, wines, and specialty cocktails to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by management.

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience as a bartender in a fine dining or high-end establishment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of mixology and cocktail recipes is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bartending or mixology certification is a plus.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Keen attention to detail and passion for service excellence.
  • Professional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectations. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success. 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at times.
  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property. 
  • Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. 
  • Climbing steps regularly.
  • Prolonged periods standing.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay rate for this position is $14.00, tip credit applies.
  • The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
