RÊVE, a classic French bistro in downtown Lafayette is looking for a full time lead line cook for our saute / saucier station. Higher pay DOE. Cash tips every week about $60/per cook
Michelin recommended since 2021, we are open for dinner only Tuesday - Saturday. Work life balance is a key. We make all sauces from scratch and do some in house butchery. Work directly with our chef, a classically trained French chef / owner. We are a small, husband / wife team owned & operated restaurant. You must be willing to learn and take direction. We have been open for 7 years, and have a very positive reputation with our guests that you will help us keep (4.9 OpenTable / 98% would recommend)
This is a 36-42/hr a week position. 2:00 - close (about 10, 10:30) Major holidays off (and paid after 90 days). Closed for two weeks in July for summer vacation. One year of employment = 1 week paid, 3 years employment 2 weeks paid.

Experience required:
- 4-5 years sautee in a high end full service restaurant
- knowledge of French sauces and techniques
- can work in a busy fast paced environment
