General Manager – Modern Japanese Sushi Concept (Upstate NY)
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the front-of-house team at a boutique Japanese-
inspired restaurant in Upstate New York. The restaurant features a thoughtfully designed menu centered on sushi and inventive small plates, complemented by sake, cocktails, and a curated wine list. With around 75 total seats including a seasonal patio, this is a guest-driven environment where culture and leadership are the top priorities.
The Role
The General Manager will take ownership of all day-to-day operations, guest relations, and team development. The role includes improving and implementing systems, building training programs, and ensuring service standards that create a welcoming, memorable dining experience.

Strong leadership background in restaurant management

Experience with Japanese cuisine or sushi concepts is a plus (but not required)
