We have an incredible opportunity for a service captain in Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking a service captain who truly enjoys the hospitality industry. The service captain will be an extension of our management team ensuring that the team is fully supported on the floor and that our food, beverage and guests expectations are maintained to the highest standards. 

Selected no 26 in Best 100 Restaurants by NY Times 2024. Eyval Restaurant’s concept is centered around Iranian cuisine and culture, this concept (years in the making) is a passion project from the heart. We have an enthusiastic and experienced culinary team in place and understand the dedication needed to operate a successful restaurant.

Accordingly, we are looking for an individual as equally thrilled to grow this concept with us. If you have the experience, fortitude, and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed. Then we would love to hear from you!

Skills and Experience:

• At least 2 years of server experience
• Experience running food and drinks
• Experience hosting with Resy
• Experience in a high volume restaurant 
• Solid knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Upbeat attitude, kind, friendly, and patient
• Available at least four days a week with a flexible schedule
• Excited to delve deeply into Persian history and culture

Responsibilities:

• Respond to restaurant emails
• Support front of house staff during service
• Support management staff when needed
• Work collaboratively and positively with the rest of the staff
• Guide guests through the menu of Persian cuisine
• Create a welcoming environment for our guests
