Assistant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to step in as server or bartend as needed
• Work under the direction of the General Manager/Owner to manage daily operations
• Schedule and delegate tasks to team as directed by the GM
• Ensure restaurant policies are upheld and clear to staff
• Great service for both new and regular customers
• Train new and existing staff
• Implement new systems, policies, and procedures as approved by the GM
• Work smoothly with kitchen, front of house and bar teams
• Create weekly schedules for staff
• Inventory/coordinate with head cook and head bartender for daily/weekly orders needed for service
• Open and close the restaurant as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Passionate about the restaurant industry
• Great management and communication skills, team player that leads by example
• Knowledge of how a restaurant runs, food, wine & spirits
• 2 years of restaurant management experience (beyond a server) within a high-volume restaurant
• Available weekends and holidays
• Detail oriented and organized
