After Chicago, led by three-Michelin-starred Chef Curtis Duffy, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Front of House team as Servers and Maître d’.
Applicants should have at least 5 years of fine dining or high-end restaurant/cocktail bar experience with a passion for hospitality. This hybrid role requires the ability to provide refined tableside service as a server while also leading the dining room with poise and professionalism as a host/maitre'd. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Dining Room Leadership

Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.

Manage reservations, pacing, and guest flow to ensure seamless service.

Act as a liaison between the service team and the kitchen to maintain timing and quality of experience.

Maintain a visible floor presence to anticipate guest needs and support the service team.

Service Excellence

Provide gracious, attentive, and knowledgeable service at the table.

Guide guests through food and beverage menus with confidence and accuracy.

Offer thoughtful recommendations for wine and beverage pairings.

Maintain mastery-level knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.

Anticipate and accommodate guest needs throughout service.

Establish and maintain positive guest relationships.

Operational Duties

Accurately enter orders and follow all cash-handling and POS procedures.

Execute opening, side-work, and closing duties as outlined.

Maintain pristine table, station, and service area organization.

Uphold all service standards and protocols set forth by management.

Perform additional tasks at the direction of management.
