Cornerstone Bistro in Wayne, PA is looking for a few people who have hospitality in their blood to join our team.
We focus on providing exceptional service to all our guests and we are looking for an enthusiastic Host/Receptionist who shares that same focus. Previous experience is not required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Taking guest phone calls
- Greeting and seating
- Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
- Demonstrating a passion for details
- Ability to support servers and work as a team
- Preparing the restaurant for service
- Taking part in pre-service duties, such as setting tables, folding napkins
- Performing applicable closing duties
- Participating in service education sessions
Job Requirements:
- Possess an overall positive, friendly attitude
- Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work both Friday and Saturday nights
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience)

Christine & Nicholas Kondra, owner & chefs + husband & wife team returned home after spending 10 years in Boston & Nantucket to open Cornerstone in the Fall of 2015. Christine working as a private chef & restaurant owned by the famed chef partners Jamie Bissonnette & Ken Oringer. Nick working his way up on the Nantucket & Boston restaurant scene, working at the famed Straight Wharf Restaurant (Nantucket) & Ten Tables in Harvard Square. Upon returning in Jan '14, Nick became the pasta chef at Amis under the well respected Brad Spence & Marc Vetri.
