Chef de Partie (Line Cook) – The Kingsway

The Kingsway, a fine dining Asian restaurant experience from the James Beard-nominated team behind the acclaimed Saffron NOLA, is seeking dedicated and passionate Chefs de Partie (Line Cooks) to join our culinary team. At The Kingsway, we are committed to creating a dining experience that honors heritage while embracing innovation and quality.

About the Role:

As a Chef de Partie, you will work closely with the Exec Chef and Sous Chef to execute precise and beautifully presented dishes. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food according to our high standards while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Your dedication to consistency and excellence will help define The Kingsway experience.

Key Responsibilities:

 Execute dishes to exacting standards as directed by the Exec Chef and Sous Chef

 Prepare ingredients and mise en place with precision and efficiency

 Cook and plate dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines

 Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times

 Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations

 Work collaboratively with the culinary team to maintain quality and consistency

 Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients

Qualifications:

 Previous experience as a line cook or chef de partie in a fine dining environment

 Passion for Asian cuisine and modern culinary techniques

 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting

 Willingness to learn and grow within a team-driven environment

 Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
