The busser plays an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere.
We are looking for someone who can work in both East Village and Bushwick Nowon
Role Highlights:
- Efficient Service: Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for timely food delivery.
- Presentation Excellence: Plate dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Seamless Operations: Run food orders efficiently and maintain table sequence.
- Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables promptly, enhancing the dining experience.
- Guest Interaction: Assist with guest requests, inquiries, and needs.
- Cleanliness Priority: Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Physical Stamina: Stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery to guests.
- Efficiently run food orders to tables, maintaining proper sequence and attention to detail.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, removing used dishes, utensils, and glassware.
- Assist server in replenishing table supplies, such as condiments, napkins, and utensils, to enhance guest experience.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including sweeping and cleaning spills.
- Assist servers in addressing guest requests and inquiries, enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar for smooth communication and service coordination.
- Support a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting as needed in various tasks.
- Contribute to a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of previous experience as a Food Runner, Busser, or a similar role
- Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with serving and kitchen teams.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays and dishes for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the overall success of the front-of-house team.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
