Job Overview:
The Support team at Safta plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by assisting with a variety of tasks that contribute to an exceptional dining experience. As a Support team member, you will be responsible for running food, bussing and resetting tables, providing water service, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Your work is essential in supporting the service team and ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in running food from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that all dishes are delivered promptly and accurately.
- Bus and reset tables between guest seatings, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Provide water service to guests, ensuring glasses are filled and refreshed as needed.
- Clear tables efficiently and thoroughly between courses and at the end of each meal.
- Support the front-of-house team by responding to guest requests and assisting with any additional tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant, including the dining room, service stations, and entryways.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, ensuring the restaurant is ready for service.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a support or busser role in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the restaurant staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stay focused and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods, often for the entire shift.
- Lifting and carrying trays, dishes, and other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Bending, reaching, and stooping to perform tasks around the dining area.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($15.79) plus tips
