Prep Cook

Luthun builds its own progressive flavors inspired by global micro seasonality. Our chef/founder Nahid Ahmed honors the integrity of the ingredients while also bringing to light new and unexpected flavors from all around the world, with an emphasis on spice and thoughtfully executed technique.

We are hiring for a full-time prep cook to come in before shift on Tues-Sat to butcher meat and prepare ingredients for service.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize ingredients for a 9-course tasting menu with frequently changing recipes.

• Butcher fish, shellfish, and meat with precision and consistency.

• Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety.

• Assist with inventory management and kitchen organization.

• Support the culinary team in ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Strong butchering skills (fish, shellfish, and meat).

• Knife skills and a strong attention to detail.

• Food Handler’s License.

• Previous culinary experience is preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
