We are passionate about design, hospitality, music, and culinary excellence and we’re seeking a dynamic individual to support the Food & Beverage Director in driving high-impact operations and cultivating best-in-class guest experiences.

Position Overview

The Assistant to the Food & Beverage (F&B) Director will provide high-level administrative, operational, and cultural support across a diverse collection of venues including restaurants, bars, lounges, nightlife, and in-room dining. This individual will be a vital link between leadership and on-the-ground teams, helping to ensure communication is clear, priorities are met, and standards remain consistently elevated.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who thrives on multitasking, has a deep understanding of hospitality service, and is passionate about the NYC F&B scene.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Project Coordination

  • Manage calendars, meetings, and cross-property project timelines
  • Draft, edit, and distribute communications, reports, SOPs, and presentations
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for contracts, financials, and departmental records

Operations & Reporting

  • Compile weekly/monthly reports on labor, revenue, and inventory
  • Support outlet reporting via POS, BackOffice, and Opera Cloud systems
  • Track department-wide initiatives to ensure follow-through

People & Culture

  • Help coordinate training, onboarding, certifications, and reviews for venue managers
  • Support team communications and org chart updates
  • Represent the Director in meetings and foster a positive internal culture

Strategic & Confidential Support

  • Assist with vendor coordination, competitive research, and project development
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Provide behind-the-scenes leadership to help drive departmental success

What We’re Looking For

  • FOH Experience (required): You understand floor operations, service flow, and team dynamics
  • BOH Exposure (a plus): Familiarity with culinary systems and chef-side logistics
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Resy, SpotOn, TripleSeat, and inventory systems
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and professional email communication
  • Flexible and adaptable schedule to meet business demands
  • Energetic, personable, organized, and passionate about NYC’s cultural landscape
  • Able to “walk the walk” — this is an executive support position with high visibility

Behavioral Expectations

  • Fair, calm, and consistent in communication
  • Strong sense of accountability and follow-through
  • Curious and proactive—willing to learn and contribute at all levels
  • Honest, selfless, and focused on team success
