 Seeking Servers at Ris (2275 L St.)

RIS is looking to hire motivated service staff to complement our team. We are in search of servers with a strong food and wine knowledge, who are team-oriented and have a passion for hospitality.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, with a great attitude.  We are truly a family, with scores of regulars who have been joining us for years, and staff members who are professional, and long-tenured.  Full availability is a big plus. Pay is competitive with the top serving jobs in the city. We are closed Sundays. You are rarely in the restaurant past 11:00 PM

 Ris is one of DC's premier Modern American restaurants located in the heart of the West End, just below the Ritz Carlton Residences. We specialize in market-driven, crowd-pleasing dishes, which straddle the line between haute cuisine and comfort food. Chef Ris was just honored with RAMW's lifetime achievement award and in this year we were named a semifinalist for James Beard 'Best Restaurant in America' and were given a glowing review in The Washington Post. Compensation Details

Compensation: Weekly ($1,000.00 - $1,500.00) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $1,500

A James Beard nominated chef, Ris Lacoste is chef and owner of her West End DC bistro, RIS. Learning her craft from the famed Anne Willan at her Paris culinary school, Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne, Ris returned stateside and started a long, rewarding relationship with Chef Bob Kinkead.
