Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries, as needed
- Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales
Experience:
- 1 year speciality coffee experience preferred, Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is required, strong team management skill is required, Strong hospitality required .
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously, weekend availability is a must.
