Job Details
Super Burrito is looking for an experienced Floor Manager to take the lead during service and help run the day-to-day operations of our bar and restaurant on Bleecker St. in the West Village. We want someone who knows how to keep things moving smoothly, creates a fun and welcoming environment for both guests and staff alike, and upholds our standards of great food and bar service.

Team Leadership and Performance
  • Uphold and promote the company’s values of great welcoming hospitality, acting as a role model and leader within the team.
  • Foster strong team relationships and remain engaged with the customer experience.
  • Oversee team onboarding, training, and development.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, support and recognition.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to enforce disciplinary action clearly and properly in accordance with S.B.’s standards and ethics.
Customer Experience & Service Quality
  • Monitor and manage guest feedback, resolving concerns promptly and thoughtfully and communicating issues thoroughly with upper management.
  • Maintain S.B.’s high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service.
  • Oversee event execution, ensuring that all staff present are well prepared for any changes or exceptions in service.
  • Consistent surveillance of table turnarounds– delegate to staff and help when needed
  • Ensure all food and beverage products are served according to established quality standards– give immediate feedback if you see something wrong.
  • A clear oversight of wait times for food, communicating and compensating customers in any service and kitchen error or delays
Operations Management
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, actively participating in service and problem-solving.
  • Maintain optimal venue atmosphere as established by upper management (lighting, temperature, sound, cleanliness, etc.) throughout service.
  • Inventory levels are maintained and replenished as needed - informing upper management of necessary orders.
  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the FOH, restrooms, and equipment, responding promptly and informing management of necessary repairs or concerns
  • Ensure that the back bar is properly and consistently clean, organized, and stocked by bartender and/or barback
  • Assist in communication between kitchen, runners, and bar staff.
  • Responding to staff inquiries in WhatsApp groups.
Financial Oversight
  • Be sure that menus (POS and paper) and prices are accurate and consistent.
  • Oversee POS functionality and efficiency
  • Enforce proper handling of comping and voiding items and that FOH executes orders properly.
  • Monitor cash drawers and banks making sure that all cash is accounted for and accurate
  • Make sure cash drawers have sufficient change for service
Compliance & Safety
  • Department of Health (DOH) compliance monitored daily and any concerns immediately addressed and reported
  • Promote and enforce safe working practices among all staff.
  • Investigate and document incidents or safety hazards and take corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure that all staff communicate with one another with the utmost respect and report any questionable behavior to upper management.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($60,000.00 - $70,000.00)

Super Burrito was founded by two good friends from San Francisco who wanted to bring the best version of the mission-style burrito to New York City.

Started as a concession on the Rockaway beach boardwalk, super burrito has been pleasing the tastebuds of the beach-going masses since 2017. In July 2020 we opened our first brick and mortar restaurant in Rockaway beach. Offering take-out and delivery, open 7 days a week, year round and located only a mile from our original boardwalk stand and one block from the beach. In January 2023 we opened our second restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with the familiar quick service restaurant as well as a full service bar in the back.

Skillfully rolled inside a steamed, doughy 13” tortilla are rice, beans, jack cheese, freshly made pico de gallo, house-made salsas, sliced avocado, sour cream, and flavorful grilled meats or roasted poblano chiles.

A taste of home for those from the west and a new refreshing taste for those in the east, super burrito aims to please all.
