Located in the historic Evelyn Hotel, BRASS is a modern New York brasserie that blends French tradition with contemporary style, while The Tusk Bar is an intimate yet lively cocktail and raw bar. Together, they bring a cinematic, hospitality-driven spirit to the Flatiron/NoMad neighborhood.Since opening, both concepts have received strong initial accolades and press recognition for their design, energy, and cocktail program — including being named one of Esquire’s Best New Bars in America. We are continuing to grow our team and are seeking a Bar Manager / Bar Program Lead to oversee the bar program while taking some service shifts too. This is a hybrid role combining tipped bartender shifts with administrative hours for program management.Responsibiltiies
• Lead the cocktail program: plan seasonal menus, develop recipes, and maintain consistent quality.
• Work behind the bar, delivering excellent cocktails and memorable hospitality.
• Train and mentor the bar team on recipes, technique, and service standards.
• Manage ordering, vendor relationships, and brand partnerships.
• Conduct regular inventory and maintain accurate product accounting.
• Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully DOH-compliant.
• Contribute ideas for new drinks, promotions, and guest experience enhancements.
• Help foster a positive, high-performance bar culture.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, cocktail-driven restaurant setting
• Strong foundation in classic cocktails, spirits, and modern technique.
• Experience with bar program management: ordering, costing, inventory, and vendor relations.
• Natural leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire others.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a love for hospitality.

• Position Type: Hybrid hourly (Admin rate + Tipped bartender rate)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rates + tips; quarterly performance incentives may apply
